A fantastic weekend at Hua Hin Beach

Last weekend Mark and I took the 3 hour drive to Hua Hin Beach. It is famous here for having the Summer residence for the King and Queen of Thailand.

We stayed at a new Marriott which had beautiful pools.

The Sandy beach was the nicest we have found in Thailand.

We enjoyed a daily massage on the beach by this mother daughter team

We enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner on the pier.

Under the pier

We enjoyed the fresh crab curry, and the huge prawn

I enjoyed the fish massage

A delicious coconut ice cream crepe for breakfast

The resort was a 3 hour drive from Bangkok, so we will return!

Snorkeling in Koh Tan

Mark and I had a wonderful time snorkeling off the coast of Koh Tan. We rode in a long tail boat to get there.

A beautiful view of the sunset.

We enjoyed the south end of the island. A beautiful waterfall

A tour of a local temple made from clay

A beautiful view from the mountains

Last to see the monkey who picks the ripe coconuts

A fun visit.

A weekend on the island Ko Samui

After a trip up north, we went south to stay on the beach

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the beach along with an amazing fire show.

A trip to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand

I have wanted to visit this city for years, so was exciting when we finally went there.

We walked around the old town which is surrounded by the old wall.

The pool was amazing!

We enjoyed our tour to the hillside. Saw a Hmong village

We then toured the old temple on the hillside called Doi Sethep which is 9 miles out of town

I bought a few souvenirs

We enjoyed the delicious northern Thai sausage, and other dishes

A very fun trip, and would love to go again.

Back in Bangkok

I am happy to be back in Bangkok, just in time for mango season
